Obiettivi formativi
Introduzione ad uno dei classici della filosofia contemporanea. Alla fine del modulo lo studente dovra': 1) essere in grado di fare una ricostruzione razionale del testo; 2) impadronirsi della terminologia filosofica utilizzata nel testo; 3) essere in grado di ricostruire le strategie argomentative del testo.
Introduction to one of the classics of contemporary philosophy. At the end of the module students should be able: 1) to make a rational reconstruction of the text; 2) to master the philosophical terminology used in the text; 3) to reconstruct the text's argumentative strategies.

Lo studente dovrà essere in grado di 1) individuare le tesi principali del testo 2) ricostruire le strategie argomentative per sostenere quei temi 3) inquadrare il testo all'interno del pensiero generale dell'autore.
Students should be able to 1) single out the text's main claims 2) reconstruct the argumentative strategies to support such claims 3) frame the text within the author's general thought.

Modalità di insegnamento
Il modulo consisterà in una lettura (nella classe online o in parte precedentemente a casa) delle parti principali del testo, possibilmente insieme ad una discussione in classe in presenza, anche coaudiuvata da presentazioni degli stessi studenti o comunque da loro domande pure preventivamente esposte, delle tesi contenute in tali parti.
The module will consist in a reading (in online class or previously at home) of the text's main parts, along with a discussion possibly in class in person, even with the students' own presentations or on the basis of their (possibly previously formulated) questions , about the theses contained in such parts.

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
Alla fine del modulo gli studenti (frequentanti e non frequentanti) dovranno sostenere una prova scritta sul testo, consistente nello sviluppo di un elaborato (1000 parole max.) sui temi e gli argomenti principali del testo. L'elaborato dovra' essere inviato al docente almeno una settimana prima della prova orale in sede di appello di esame; tale prova consistera' nella discussione dell'elaborato in rapporto alle tre abilità indicate negli obiettivi formativi. Sulla piattaforma Moodle si trovano poi 10 quiz cui lo studente puo' rispondere per aumentare di 1 punto la propria valutazione.
Students (both attending and non-attending ones) will have to undergo a written examination after the end of the module. It will consists in a paper (1000 words max.) about the text's main themes and arguments. The paper must be submitted at least one week before the oral examination to be held at the official exam session. The oral examination will merely consist in the paper's discussion with respect to the three abilities summed up in the module's objectives will be tested. On the Moodle platform of the course, students can find 10 quizzes to whom they may answer in order to improve their mark up to 1 point.
